Met Susteed is een nieuwe, biologische zaadbehandeling beschikbaar die gericht is op een sterke start van groentegewassen. Door toepassing op zaaizaad ondersteunt Susteed de jonge plant vanaf het kiemstadium, met aandacht voor het beheersen van grondgebonden ziekten, weerbaarheid, wortelontwikkeling en efficiënte nutriëntenopname.
Susteed bevat de actieve stof Bacillus amyloliquefaciens stam QST713. Deze actieve stof is in de tuin- en akkerbouw goed bekend. De formulering van Susteed is speciaal ontwikkeld en daardoor onderscheidend voor gebruik als zaadbehandeling.

Wat biedt Susteed?
- Bescherming tegen bodemgebonden ziekten. De hoge sporenconcentratie ondersteunt de bestrijding van bodempathogenen, waaronder Rhizoctonia spp., Phoma spp. en Fusarium spp.
- Versterking van de natuurlijke weerbaarheid. Susteed activeert systemische resistentie in de plant, waardoor deze beter is voorbereid op zowel biotische als abiotische stressfactoren.
- Plantvitaliteit en groeistimulatie. Bevordert een uniforme kieming, stimuleert wortelontwikkeling en verbetert de opname van voedingsstoffen, wat bijdraagt aan een optimaal groeipotentieel.
Beschikbaarheid
Susteed zal vanaf 2027 beschikbaar zijn.

Registration of new seed treatment product Susteed
With Susteed, a new biological seed treatment is becoming available, developed to contribute to a strong start for vegetable crops. Applied directly to seed, Susteed supports from the germination stage onwards, suppression of soil-borne diseases, enhancing plant resilience, promoting root development, and improving nutrient uptake efficiency.
Susteed contains the active substance Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain QST 713, a well-established biological active ingredient widely recognized in both horticultural and arable crop cultivation. The formulation of Susteed has been specifically developed for seed treatment applications.

What Does Susteed offer?
- Disease control. The high spore concentration supports the suppression of soil-borne pathogens, including Rhizoctonia spp., Phoma spp., and Fusarium spp.
- Enhanced Natural Plant Resilience. Initiates a defense response in all plant cells. This primes the plant’s defense against both biotic and abiotic stress.
- Plant stimulation. Susteed promotes uniform germination, stimulates root development, and enhances nutrient uptake, contributing to overall plant growth.
Availability
Susteed is commercially available from 2027 onwards.
